This week we continued working with partial quotient division. Many of us feel that we are now experts and could teach others. Ask me to show you this method of division.

Language Arts
We continued reading in our book club groups and wrote S.W.B.S. summary sentences to explain what is happening in our novel. Next week we will work on book club centres to make personal connections to our reading.
We also continued work on our individual book projects this week. We have one more week to work on our comic strips, maps, trioramas, plasticine art, newscasts and many other interesting projects.

Our designs for our houses are starting to come together. We have created blueprints and will be starting construction soon. We will be collecting materials to build our creations.

We are working on learning the important vocabulary for our electricity unit. This helps us understand what we are doing in our labs and centres. We are creating a game. Ask me what I had to do. This game has also taught us some ways to review units and prepare for tests.
Other
Gym- We are practising our routine for the Dance Showcase....here is a sneak peak!
We had a Grade 5/6 Dance Off. Here are some of the pictures of our dance champs.
Next week is Teacher's Convention. There is no school for students on Thursday and Friday.
Remember to stay safe by dressing for the weather.
We had buddies today. Our little buddies showed us some new dance moves. We gave them a small sneak peak of our upcoming showcase surprises. They also taught us a new math game.
